Vachelle and Jonathan's Wedding at The Riverview, Simsbury, CT

What can I say about Vachelle and Jonathan?  They are the most wonderful, kind and sincere human beings I know.  The love they have for each other is priceless and the love they have for God is sincere and deep.  When Vachelle and Jon approached  me, interested in my services for their wedding, I was so honored.  When they picked me to be their wedding photographer, I was elated. It bought tears to my eyes.  When I love a person and they entrust  me to photograph one of the most important days of their lives, I not only feel honored, but I also want to make sure they get the best out of my work. It's so much fun when you personally know the family.  You basically go through the whole wedding process with them.  I have known their wonderful parents, Lissy and Edwin for 7 years. They attend the same congregation, CCC, and hold a special place in Dave and I's heart.  They are wonderful people, who we have had the honor to know and fraternized with.  Certainly, I was looking forward to this wedding with anticipation.

Here are a few photos taken at the wedding. Vachelle did not disappoint! She was a stunner! One of the most beautiful brides I have photographed. Seriously...I mean, just look at the pictures and judge for yourself.

When daddy saw his little girl for the first time all, dress as a bride, tears flowed. It was so emotional.  Edwin has had to hand over his only two daughters, in the past year and a half to their husbands.  A very hard task for a father who loves his babies girls to infinity and beyond.  In conversation, he expressed how God answered his prayer and has blessed his two daughters with loving, caring, men of God.  A true blessing indeed.

I had to include this precious flower girl in the pictures. She was so eager and ready to perform her duties. She was full of energy, eager and excited about her role in the wedding for 2 hours.  As she started to come down the aisle, tears started streaming down her cheeks. Her crying was a quiet cry.  My heart just went out to her. I looked at her, and  whispered she was doing an awesome job.  Although, she was crying, she was throwing her rose petals and doing her job! Crying all the way down the aisle, she finished throwing the petals and sat down in the front row. Such a cutie pie.  She stole my heart.

Vachelle and Jon are a very good looking couple. Once you see their parents, you realize they got their good looks from both sets of parents.  I looked into the camera and said, "geez, too much prettiness and handsomeness for my camera to handle! LOL!  A very good looking family, indeed.

Lissy with her beautiful daughter.  Seriously, how beautiful and young is mom? Just look at this picture. Gorgeous! Both of them.

Don't know why these pictures look blurry.  The originals are not blurry at all.  :/

This wedding party was a hoot.  Dave and I would give them ideas and they ran with them. So much fun!

Vachelle's sister, Audrey, served as her matron of honor and Azrael, Jonathan's brother served as his best man.  Siblings who love each other to the ends of the earth.

The party was right on!!!

Feel free to leave your comments so the bride can read them.
